§ 25-468. Projections on vehicles.

  • All vehicles carrying poles or other objects, which project more than five (5) feet from the rear or front thereof shall, at any time from a half-hour after sunset to a half-hour before sunrise and at any other time when there is not sufficient light to render clearly discernible persons and vehicles on any street or highway at a distance of five hundred (500) feet ahead, carry a red light at or near the rear end of the pole or other object so projecting. At other times a red flag or cloth, not less than sixteen (16) inches square, shall be displayed at the end of the projection.
